Authenticity is key in Martin’s leadership. Engineers must be trusted, valued, and supported to do their best work, so he serves his fellow engineers, product owners, UX, and stakeholders to help everyone sustainably deliver results.
The goal of development is simple software that works. Overwhelm caused by complexity is a sign of poor understanding of the project domain, faulty communication, and over-engineering for future needs. Minimum effective software results from iterative refinement, frequent delivery, and domain familiarity through personal ownership. Martin is excited at the opportunity to not only apply his engineering and management skills, but to also continue his recent experience working in the oncological tech space.
